The Illinois Firefighters Association will proudly support the health and welfare of the community of firefighters in Illinois through education, training, benefits and information networking at the local, state and national levels.
Membership
IFA is wholly dedicated to supporting the Illinois firefighter community. We offer membership levels to meet the needs of departments as well as individuals. The IFA provides a number of programs to benefit our members, including free programs, discounted training rates, advocacy, news updates and notices, scholarships and grants, special events and more. GO GREEN CLEAN
Exposure to toxic environments and chemicals is a real concern for the firefighting community, but proper training and awareness can help mitigate risks and help prevent cancer and other health concerns. IFA is offering the GO GREEN CLEAN Initiative for Firefighter Cancer Awareness and Prevention, a cancer awareness and prevention program, free of charge to all members as part of our commitment to your health and well-being.
